BBQ & Dessert Fest Participant Registration
The All-American BBQ & Dessert Fest allows your restaurant, organization, or establishment to show support for this great community event while also showcasing your business.
BBQ & Dessert Fest will take place on Tuesday, July 4, 2017
from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
REGISTRATION FOR BBQ & DESSERT FEST 2017 IS OPEN
How it Works:

BBQ & Dessert Fest participation is open to any Saratoga County establishment, organization, or business. |
|
You will create your own BBQ and/or Dessert recipe and serve it in small single-serving tastings (about the size of a small dixie cup or cocktail plate.) |
|
Event-goers will visit each Participant's location and line up to purchase tastings for $1 each (paid by the event-goer to the Participant.) |
|
Event-goers will vote for their favorites online. T-Shirts will be available at the T-Shirt Tent in front of Fingerpaint Marketing at the corner of Broadway and Division Street. |
|
Winners will be announced in multiple categories at the Parking Lot Party before the fireworks. |
|
Categories will include Best On Broadway, Best Off-Broadway, Best Newcomer, President's Choice, and others, each for both BBQ and Dessert. |
|
Winners will also be announced on our website, on Facebook, and in press release. |
|
Winners will receive a beautiful window decal, announcement of their victory in all of our mediums, and of course bragging rights for the year! |

In previous years, some Participants have reported anywhere between 300 and 1000 tastings served. Of course this can vary based on weather, turnout, location, and a myriad of other factors. Be sure to plan appropriately! Nearly EVERY participant ran out of tastings last year! |

Set up a separate table/location for this event and carefully plan traffic flow into and out of your location as lines tend to get very long. |
|
We will advertise your participation in BBQ & Dessert Fest on our website and advertising, and on our Map & Ballot that will be made available to event-goers in the days preceding the event. |
|
It is highly suggested that you also announce your participation in your own pre-event marketing especially on social media websites. Getting your existing fanbase to turn out and taste your BBQ and/or dessert is a great way to ensure you get lots of votes! |

BBQ & Dessert Fest provides your establishment more than just a one-day revenue opportunity. It is a chance to have perhaps thousands of event goers seek out your location, see your logo, taste your food, and LEARN about your business/organization. The additional marketing from press releases and social media is an extra bonus, too. |

Saratoga Springs is known for its close-knit community members that all support each other. By showing your support for this community event, you are building your brand with all our community members. |

Participation in EITHER BBQ OR Dessert categories is $100. |
|
Participation in BOTH BBQ AND Dessert categories is $150. |
|
This cost covers our cost of printed materials, advertising, and other event operations. |
|
Saratoga's All-American Celebration, Inc. is a registered non-profit 501(c)3. |
