We have come a long way over our history, especially over the last six as an independent non-profit organization. What had been a simple fireworks display organized by a department within City Hall has blossomed into a multi-day, multi-aspect event organized by an independent 501(c)3 led by an all-volunteer Board funded by generous donors, sponsors, and participants.

Today, Saratoga’s All-American Celebration is Saratoga Springs’ third-largest annual citywide event, behind only First Night and Chowderfest, attracting well over 10,000 people from across the country to experience downtown Saratoga Springs’ hotels, shops, and restaurants while engaging in family-friendly, patriotic, and historical activities. The event now follows the Firecracker4 Road Race and includes a parade, classic car show, BBQ and dessert festivals, historic tours, reenactors, a concert, a live reading of the Declaration of Independence, and, of course, fireworks. Saratoga’s All-American Celebration was even named by ABC News in 2012 one of the Ten Best Small-Town July 4th Celebrations in America!

Our goal has always been to provide a family-friendly, educational, and historical July 4th experience to local residents and visitors while boosting the economic vibrancy of Saratoga Springs. Each year the most popular aspects of the event return and improvements are made. New car show, festival, and concert venues have increased access and attendance. The Audiostars have headlined the concert leading up to the fireworks for three years running. The fireworks are now launched from the north end of Congress Park for better viewing from downtown establishments. And even more is being added this year!

While our Celebration has grown in offerings and attendance, it has also grown in expense. The costs of insurance, permitting, fireworks, entertainment, public safety and public works services have all increased. The Board of Directors believes in the need to continue such a beloved community event that celebrates our nation’s independence while bringing thousands of people to our city’s businesses and establishments — we hope you do too!

Please consider this year’s event as soon as possible to take advantage of this year’s sponsorship benefits. Remember, Saratoga’s All-American Celebration, Inc. is a 501(c)3 charitable organization!

Thank you in advance for your generous support!

Sincerely, the Saratoga’s All-American Celebration, Inc. Board of Directors
